Naorangire's brand concept is "protecting women's pride and dignity." Some people may feel that lingerie does not necessarily align with the words " pride " and " dignity. " In particular, when the brand was first established about 10 years ago, it was sometimes difficult to convey this message.
In recent years, movements such as body positivity have spread in Japan, and more people are empathizing with them. However, from the owner and designer NAO 's own experience, she believes that lingerie is a source of pride and a sense of belonging for women. I have always believed that it has the power to protect dignity and embrace people, so I have continued to convey this message. I've arrived.
The inspiration for this brand concept dates back to the childhood of owner and designer NAO .
Due to the sexual abuse she experienced in her childhood and her home environment, she grew up feeling that she was looked down upon for being a woman. She attended a strict school and sometimes had trouble fitting in with the people around her, so she tried hard to understand why she was born. As I was thinking about this, one day when I was in junior high school, I came across a piece of lingerie.
It was a bra that you can buy at any supermarket, but when I tried it on and looked at myself in the mirror, I thought for the first time, "I look so beautiful. I am beautiful." It wasn't just that the lingerie or my appearance was beautiful; it was the first time I felt that I was an important person, and that my existence had meaning.
Even now that I'm an adult, lingerie has always served as a soothing, protective device for my heart.
The bust and private areas are areas that many women tend to feel complex about, but at Nao Lingerie we strive to create lingerie that makes women feel that their natural bodies and very existences are fully accepted.
Lingerie has the role of protecting the precious genitals. It is something very special that should not be shown to just anyone, and we want you to treasure it above all else. Because it is not " just a part of the body, " It's your own pride and dignity.
Hoping that as many people as possible can feel this, Nao Lingerie includes a message in each of its collections that will serve as an anthem for the women who wear them.
